Settings
Every pane of the ProRDP settings window: General, Account, Connection, Experience, and Security.
Open settings by choosing Settings from the ProRDP menu bar item, or by pressing Command-Comma (⌘,) while its menu is open. The window has a pane for each area, chosen from its toolbar, arranged from the settings most people change to the ones most people never touch.
Settings are saved as soon as you change them, unless the server is running and the changes require a server restart. A banner will appear at the bottom of the window prompting you to restart the server for the changes to take effect.
General
Server status and controls, startup behavior, power management, and the macOS permissions ProRDP depends on.
Account
Choose who can sign in over Remote Desktop: a dedicated ProRDP account, or an existing macOS user account.
Connection
The listening port, UDP transport, Network Level Authentication, clipboard and file sharing, and keyboard mapping.
Experience
Display modes, text scaling, multi-monitor sessions, frame rate and bitrate, and where the Mac's audio plays.
Security
The TLS certificate clients see, a tamper-evident audit trail of connections, and optional recording of each session to video.
